Brand Identity Design

The MA Final Major Project was focused on the creation of a brand from a one year research over a chosen subject.

The brand I created is called urbanvacui and
it comes from a research done around the concept of emptiness.

Urbanvacui is an art movement sensitive to the preservation of empty spaces in the urban landscape. In a world where cities are rapidly expanding, the necessity of highlighting the importance of such spaces and preserving them becomes evident.

The movement intention is, through lights, to help citizens to identify and acknowledge empty spaces within their cities sending the message that empty spaces are as valuable as the built environment and have a fundamental role in defining the urban landscape.

The brand touch points are a publication showing empty spaces in London and a brand video displaying the art movement manifesto.
